CAST AND Crew information
Wraith House is part of Murphey Arts & Charitable Entertainment, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing exposure to and experience in performing arts among youth. Almost all of our actors and crew are local students, and the haunt is run as a youth program benefitting local school theater programs. The props, sets, themes, and characters, however, are of professional quality, are very realistic, and can be disturbing to some people. As such, please use your discretion in choosing to participate. It's much scarier for the attendees though than it is when you're doing the scaring, and when you're in on everything behind the scenes!
We ask that anyone who wishes to act in the haunt be prepared to participate on all of the dates and times that we are open to the public, and we require attendance at at least one production day / cast and crew meeting on or before October 6, 2024. If you are interested in participating in a more limited manner or only have limited availability, please contact us or come discuss with us at our next meeting on September 29.
Auditions will be held on September 29, 2024 at 2:00 pm, at the Lake Gregory Education Center, located at 24740 San Mortiz Way, Crestline, CA 92325. If this date does not work for you and you still want to participate, contact us to arrange an alternate date.
Thereafter, we will host production days every Saturday and Sunday at the same location until we open on October 18, 2024. Production days will vary in time, but will be at least a four-hour block of time, and participants are welcome to attend all or a portion of that time. We will be working on building out the haunt and maze itself, assigning character roles and developing costume and makeup looks, and developing sound and light effects. We can use all the help we can get, so please send your students to help as often as they can, and let us know if any parent is interested in lending a hand.
